<div class="h1_cup">Elvis Costello - I Want You</div>
This is the song that single-handedly made me an Elvis Costello fan. The simple repetition of the "I want you"s contrasted with the extreme emotion in the lyrics just makes my toes curl.

How happy I was to find that the chords are just as simple and moving. The C to B7 is one of my favourite progressions, and I tend to play all the E's as E7 just so I can get some more dominant sevenths.

Despite the repeated chords, this song is wonderful to play. Although, I do have trouble with the lyrics, so I kind of just throw in "I want you" whenever I feel like it.

I will be purchasing the M-Audio Fast Track Pro today, a beautiful compliment to my Audio-Technica 2020 condenser mic. I was put off by the price at first until I checked all the inflated costs online. Hopefully the long wait for this mixer has been worth it, and hopefully I will use my smarts enough to figure out how to work the thing. Worst case scenario, I have a fancy external upgraded soundcard. Best case: I record some mediocre tunes.
